Doing my target sweeps turned up the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Down from $449.98 to $224.98. Found these in Loveland, CO. I scooped 3 of the 4 they had leaving 1 for a fellow northern colorado FW'er. Good luck on your hunt and remember do not call and ask for stock at your store, the Target employee himself was surprised at price and I sensed a bit of hesitation(hopefully he did not buy last one). Again, good luck
cruiserhitch said: It has been $314 for the last couple weeks at my targets... That is sticker number 2 if you look closely at picture. Keep an eye on them, mine dropped today as well as nearly everything else on clearance in electronic section
Ok i took it to local frys and they did PM with additional 10% on top of it. They did call local store and found 1 was in stock at this price somewhere witin 20 miles so they were good. They filled lot of paper work and took a copy of ops receipt.
If you need one try to PM with BBY or FRYS or Sears or WM any store has it so that you can get additional discount. CA Tax sucks but it was close to $200 after PM which is not bad.

I thought Monday was the day for electronics to drop?
Can anyone confirm that Target has moved the electronics drop to Friday now?

How accurate is the stock check for Target, in general? If they say they don't have it, it's pretty much a guarantee that it's not there right? (but if they say they have it, it might still not be there?)
The main Target clearance thread said electronics got marked down today (Friday). Mine still had nothing. I bought this at 30% off which was a decent deal, 50% is great deal. Was hoping to find one at 50% to do return shuffle but no luck so far.

If you live in Utah, don't waste your time. No stores have them (yes, I ran out to check).

I knew it would go to 50% off right after I bought it =(. Good luck to people actually getting this deal. I doubt that prices will drop any lower since my Target doesn't have stock. The only chance now is a return/rebuy using a different form of payment for one reason or another if you already bought at the $314 price. Thanks OP.

They don't "process it thru inventory for 24 hrs" when you use this method?

I've been lucky a few times saying I need to use a different form of payment. The first time it actually happened by accident when an item was 75% off rather than 50% off. I just said that I needed to use another credit card or wanted to pay with cash to avoid interest and haven't had any problems. If you told them you wanted to rebuy at a lower price, that might be an issue. It's worth a shot for $90, but when I entered the DPCI into the scanner at my local Target today, it was $315. Two challenges: find a store that has/had it for the $224.98 price, and get them to allow another form of payment. I have 3 Targets within my area, so I'll give it a shot tomorrow.

Can anyone confirm that Target has moved the electronics drop to Friday now? It's still Monday, but varies by store. If your store hasn't changed prices yet, check back on Monday but be prepared to fight the crowd of other FWers for the deals. Bring two carts to load stuff and request a flatbed for the TV you'll be buying. You'll need your RedCard, too. This is a good time to use your pharmacy discount and/or your registry discount, too.

Well in all fairness, Centerville shows as "limited stock" on the locator, so YMMV. In no way am I interested in driving all over to be disappointed.

I was told by an employee earlier this year that they started staggering clearance price drops pseudorandomly to discourage deal hunters. I really don't know if it's true. Finding good clearance deals at Target is too much work now anyway and rarely worth the gas imo.
Out of stock at all Targets in a 50 mile radius. The tablet gods has forsaken me once again. Do I need to sacrifice another iPad in your name oh great android one?
