No blu-ray playback software included...be sure you've got sw or use it as a regular drive only.


WARNING: Even if you have software make sure your computer video card supports HDCP and can actually play Blurays. I found out the hard way that my shiny new Bluray did not play movies because my monitor is connected through RGB DB-15, I even tried DVI and nothing.

Must be HDMI with a compatible video card.

In other words you have to play by their rules or the Bluray simply will not play. The software is an extra $50 but it is NOT guaranteed to work.

You've been warned.
