Save Passwords Never again forget a username or password. Ever. Forget what it's like to go through tedious password resets.
Fill Out Cards/Forms Stop filling in the same forms over and over. Identity Safe can auto-fill your addresses, credit cards, frequent flyer numbers and much more.
Store Notes Securely save notes and quickly find them when you need them.
Share Found something interesting? Want to tell others? Share straight from Identity Safe.
Safe Web Don't be tricked into revealing confidential information to the wrong crowd. Know whether a site is bad, before it loads.
Safe Search Avoid bad sites. Know whether a site is bad before you visit.
Multi-Web Browser Your user names and passwords are always available to you - even if you decide to change browsers.
Across Devices/Platforms Free apps for your iOS and Android mobile devices so you can easily and securely access your favorite Web sites wherever you go.
Mobile Apps Access your important data while on-the-go.
4 out of 5 stars Biggest Con was that the form filler/recorder didnt always work and the lack of a built in password generator
Seems kinda interesting ... I've been considering a password manager application for awhile now, I'll have to consider this one as well.
FYI ... its free through October 1, 2012

So oddly enough I get norton 360 through my ISP (comcrap), and it won't let me install it with that on it. I guess no free of charge forever for me unless I try to install it on a virtual pc

I had it free with a N360 version of 2010 I believe which expired. The newest version does not accept the older versions import. So now I have a file with all my logins which is dependent on Norton and their software policies of updating, changing and forcing you to switch to different software. I switched to LastPass have been happy ever since that debacle.

Not to hijack the thread, but I'm also a long-time extremely satisfied user of RoboForm. They have Several Versions, Desktop, Portable (on USB or portable drive), or Everywhere (synchronizes your RoboForm info to all your internet-connected devices). RoboForm works with all or nearly all platforms from what I see.
Love their Form Filler, in addition to the 80-90 website logins/passwords I have saved. (Edit: AND many I use on a regular basis, making my life cake).
I've had Desktop version for a couple of years, but I'm considering Roboform Anywhere, that'll keep my 2 business Desktops & Tablet and personal Desktop & Laptop (5 total devices) all synchronized automatically, via Internet, real-time. Downside of Everywhere version is it's $19.99/yr. Currently, they're offering 1 year for $9.99 though.

Not a Mac user, but my bet is the difference is that RoboForm will take you to the website you want, then input login info, taking you to your logged-in account ... ALL from the press of 2 buttons ... saving you from having to type in every web address.

LASTPASS. Beats all other by a mile. I try all of them. It only cost money if you use across platforms (pc and phone).
It fills forms and recognize sites and pw logins better then all other ones.
Out of all the sites i have to sign in too...the only one i can't use lastpass is ING.

Just as an FYI. Lot of people recommend Lastpass. yes it is convenient and useful but has limitations in terms of security. It has been hacked once. They claim nothing was taken.
I use it for non-important stuff.

Any way around the annual fee for RoboForm Everywhere? I like the idea of accessing the passwords from any of my devices. Thought I'd ask the experienced RoboForm users before downloading.
I was initially intrigued by the Norton offer but do beleive the day will come when they will force me to pay something for the "free" download...

I don't like Norton - too much bloat, so I just installed Lastpass. Thanks for the headsup about the hacking incident.

While I hear ya, I'm not certain I'd rule out Lastpass for being hacked ONCE. I'd think that they'd step up security OR risk further damaging their reputation. Besides, the FBI has even been hacked by Computer Geeks. If they can be hacked, anything can ...

A little off topic, but can you tell me if any of these programs can fill automatically almost identical forms in different websites such as these for job applications for faculty/staff position for colleges and universities? These sites require lots of info such as few pages of experiance, education etc, but are almost identical.

I used Roboform for YEARS. Purchased a couple of lifetime licenses for a couple of PC's. Then last year, they retro-actively changed their license they sold to EVERYONE. Now, you can no longer upgrade the application using the old license that was supposed to be for a lifetime. VERY lame practice. In fact, illegal. Some folks put up a fight & got a new license, some just got a free year of service & some got completely denied. I didn't feel like fighting & just wrote the company off forever. I don't deal with companies with shady (illegal) business practices. I now use Lastpass & it works great. Was even able to import all my passwords, although the import didn't work perfectly & had to tweak many saved passwords for them to work on web sites correctly.

Be careful with RoboForm Everywhere. All of your username and password info is stored on THEIR servers, so it can be accessed "EVERYWHERE". Yes, it is encrypted of course, (and your Master Password is not stored by them)... but LastPass had some security breach issues. RoboForm can be just as susceptible.
Some good info here from a RoboForm VP: http://news.cnet.com/8301-1009_3-20061445-83.html
For my money, RoboForm's USB version is the safest. - Nothing sits on your machine. - Gets cleaned up when you logoff. - Can take it with you.
