Thanks for the heads up! I was hoping there would be diaper/wipes coupons this time.
Does anyone happen to know if the purchase limit is per trip or per membership (tracked over multiple visits)?

always been per trip per my experience

Thanks. I've been waiting a long time for the discount of the 1.5TB Seagate. Where I am, brings it down to $120. My old one worked great until my daughter tried over a hundred simultaneous transfers to the drive which then crashed.
In the past, coupons have been per trip (or actually, per cash register receipt). I have split into two transactions and got the discount on both (YMMV). Kind of frustrating that coupon policies vary store to store, even in the same metropolitan area. Some don't need coupons - discounts scan automatically, some need to scan coupons, and some want the actual physical coupon (good way to slow the line if I have to tear out individual coupons at the register).

Time to load up on the granola. I go through it as though it were an illicit drug.
In my experience, too, the coupon limit is enforced per sales transaction (i.e. receipt).

$50 off on the Cuisinart stainless steel 12 piece cookware set (final price $150 in stores) is a great deal as well. Similar set sells for over $200 at Amaz0n.
I got the coupon book today, and there are a couple of things I wanted to add.
*** Lennox "home comfort system" offer (not available in all markets): save $500 and receive a Costco cash card up to $1,000. *** two Costco Travel offers.

Kirkland Diapers for the win. I know it's dependent on each child, but we've had great luck with all sizes of kirkland brand diapers. Blowouts very much minimized with them. (Strange what you think about/think others may find useful after having kids...)
Kirkland wipes are also better than what we've found from other brands.

IMO tooth paste is a little expensive at costco...I have always seen local deals where you can get aquafresh, crest, cologate, etc for less then 60-70 cents a tube. Its convenient to buy in bulk at costco however we are fatwallers and we usually go out of our way to save a few bucks.
just a thought.

Does anyone know if Costco accepts printouts of these scanned coupons? I get in using an additional card and don't receive the coupon book.

If you ever need a coupon book, just ask at the customer service desk. That being said, you don't need the physical coupon to get the coupon price. They have copies of the coupons at the cashier and will just scan them for you automatically (if they forget, just remind them).

For those who dont know, scan one coupon at the register and it will give you the discounts for all of the items on special that you are buying.

They no longer give them out at CS, and *you* MUST present at least one coupon, which as stated elsewhere, mostly all have the same code anyway.
I would not assume that they will provide/scan one for you.
You could always ask another shopper if they'd be willing to part with a particular coupon. I was asked before and gladly gave the person the requested coupon. I can't imagine that anyone would say no.

There's good coupon for Samsonite Luggage. Anyone has experience about the quality of it? The reviews are pretty much mixed online. They looked and felt strong at the warehouse but really don't want it suddenly flopped open in the airport.

My experience is just the other way round. Two years ago you'd have to ask at the CS counter to get them (if they gave it then) but now they just have them in baskets freely available starting the day of the coupon period. This is in several places in SoCal.

they usually hand them out at the greeting station as well, but only for the first few days of the coupon. guess they ran out quick.

My experience is that it completely depends on the checker/store. Some will and some will not. On a recent trip in Austin, they said, "You need to have the coupon book per management" or something to that effect. On a subsequent visit to the same store the girl just did it without me asking (of course on one of the few occasions I actually had the book).

Receiving coupon books at your local store is YMMV. I live between three different Costcos. One of them has them sitting out at CS for you to grab. Another has them behind CS, but will give them to you if you ask. The other keeps them behind CS and refuses to give them to you. Guess where I prefer to shop? CS FTW.
I usually just tear out one coupon, stick in my wallet next to my credit card, and swipe it at the self-serve line (which I prefer to use anyway) throughout the coupon period.

Self serve lines were removed in Poway. While they were there I used them too and there usually were always a couple coupons lying around. No idea why they took them out.

Is it just me or does it seem like the Costco prices are going up a little bit? Some of these coupons are great, but the price of some of the items in the store are higher than I paid recently. I understand there might be a difference in price changes from one store to another, so maybe that is the answer to my question, I just don't know.

I somewhat agree with you, except that many times the store product tubes are only 3-6oz tubes, and they aren't the same "higher end" versions of the toothpastes that you get at Costco. I only buy toothpaste from Costco on coupons anyway to at least get a better deal overall. Seems like almost every month they have a coupon for at least one of the brands.

For some reason 95% of people wait until everything is scanned and THEN waste time pulling out the credit card. If your excuse is that you want to make sure there are no pricing errors, that's just irrational paranoia. Most of the people who do this aren't paying attention to the amounts anyway. Poor post for several reasons:
Anticipating pricing errors displays "irrational paranoia?" That's just plain dumb. Any store has the potential to have pricing errors, there's nothing irrational nor paranoid about it.
How is it more efficient to swipe the card first? In this case, one must still scan the coupon(s) after scanning the items. The point is, one has to scan something at some time or another. What difference does it make?
One place where it is absolutely a bad idea to scan one's credit or debit card during the checkout is at the grocery store when coupons will be redeemed. If one does not wait for the cashier to scan coupons, there is a likelihood that the payment will go through before the coupons have been applied.

I do notice that every now and then. For instance, I think the granola that's on sale this time may have gone up $0.15 or so. Not a great, but it does offset the coupon a tiny bit. I've noticed this more with other items, though. Supposedly their markup isn't more than 15% on any item they sell (or so they profess).
While I'm posting, I might as well rant. I've been buying these breakfast turkey sausages from the refrigerated section near the rotisserie chickens and whatnot, and I couldn't find them this trip! They are the same brand as the one I normally get! So unhappy about that ... I hope it's just a temporary supply thing and not them deciding not to sell them anymore. I would've bought a bunch and frozen them had I seen the asterisk of death!
