These are now being tossed on fleabay for $0.99. In case, someone really wants it.

This is still working. I just received a coupon w/new number. I closed browser, cleared cookies and used the link on SD. Works everytime w/different code as long as you close your browser completely--nothing left open and then clear cookies once you open browswer again.

Are there any good deals on software at Staples? How about FAR software?

I bought 2, Trend Micro Maximum Security 1 User. They are $59.99 each with a $45 Rebate.

$119.98 - 2 TM MS 1-user
-$24.00 - 20% software coupon
-$25.00 - $25 off $75 instore coupon

=$70.98 total
-$90.00 rebates

= $19.02 MM, less any tax

Lucky u, the cashier allowed you to use these 2 coupons together.
Anyone else , having similar results?

Staples just sent out one of their e-mail blast with a 20% off all software coupon code (71974) valid in-store for 05/01/12 only though.

Here is another with a different code.

This should never be a problem. You should always be able to combine a dollars-off coupon with a percent off coupon. They should both scan without issue. The cashier doesn’t have to “let” you do anything.

% coupon says "Each Item or service purchased can only be discounted by up to one couopn"
25 off coupon says " May not be combined with any other coupon"

So in my opinion it will be YMMV.

Are you saying that "% off & dollar off can always be combined @Staples as a standard policy?"

Well, as far as an official policy, there probably is one, but Staplez doesn’t make it readily available to the customer. This is a subject that has generated heated discussion in the past. I sure wish they’d post a clear policy, but I digress.

Anyway, it is always possible that a particular employee might cause one grief, but the register istelf should scan both coupons together without a problem. A possible simple workaround is to add a small filler item(s) to cover the number of coupons to items ratio. On the receipt, coupons apply a prorated value to all items purchased.

LOL what are you taking about? The redemption terms on Staples coupons ARE Staples Offical Coupon Acceptance Policy. Those terms are readily available on every Staples coupon if you actually bother to read the Staples coupon(s) you are redeeming. Just because the Staples POS does check for every possible scam some customers attempt to get passs naive cashiers does not make it acceptable behavior. I can just as easily apply your screwed up moral logic and state is is OK to simply take whatever I want from Staples and simply walk out the door without paying as long as the cashier does not notice because Staples does not post they do not allow such behavior in their stores.

Wow, somebody's having a bad day. What the heck was that all about?

I believe I addressed the issue in a sane, rational manner to answer someone’s question. Normal, reasonably well-adjusted adults should be capable of understanding discussions like this without coming to irrational conclusions and finding moral quandaries where none exist. To repeat, succinctly, I believe one dollars-off coupon may usually be used with one percent-off coupon in the same transaction. Item-specific coupons may likewise be used, if applicable.

Staples coupons terms clearly state otherwise and prove your "beliefs" irrelevant. As far as a rational response: well adjusted adults don't need to steal from Staples in order to get a good deal.
