Here, "Compatible" is key word, neatly placed by Meritline (and AMZN) in their titles... for those wanting to use genuine Brother ink carts, these are not.

there's nothing misleading at all. I think everyone knows these are generic inks...compatible, generic, etc. who would want to use genuine Brother ink anyway? whole purpose of buying these $60 printers at Staples/OM is to use the CHEAP INK.

Still have cheap cartridges from the last sell, and guess what, they still work great! Much, much cheaper and better software quality than the POS Lexmark printer with cartridge DRM that I owned previously.

Well, it wasn't obvious to some (including me), who read it as "Brother LC75" ... which is what BROTHER calls THEIR cartridges. And so I wanted to make sure OTHERS didn't mistake this and think they were buying genuine Brother carts. It was NOT obvious to me until I studied the picture on the Amazon link. It wasn't a thread crap. It was to make sure people understood what was being sold. I didn't say you shouldn't buy generic carts. I didn't complain about YOUR post title... you just copied what Meritline called it. And I didnt' give your OP red... because the deal itself is fine. But you seem to be caught up in my informational post and taking it personally. That's kind of sad, really.

But--no where in the title does it even say "Brother LC75", just LC75 compatible high yield cartridges. I think you read the title wrong. I didn't say you were thread crapping, just pointing out that I can't believe anyone would think you're getting the brand name ink for $1.50 per cartridge. There have been so many of these thread on FW dealing with the cheap ink brothers, most people know it by now. Labboy, if you're not using a brother printer anyway (no interest in the deal), why all the hoopla about setting the record straight, most people get it.

You're reading every 3rd word of my post, and inserting a few of your own...
It DOES say Brother LC75 on the Meritline page (see attached). As for having an interest in this deal, I do actually own one... purchased from Staples this week, and I've posted (including green) to that thread. And, I actually placed an order with AMZN earlier today from goatssbyday's link a few posts below the OP. Again, I never claimed NOT to have an interest in the deal, and never claimed this was a bad deal. I just wanted to make sure others were clearly aware that these were generics. Instead of guarding your posts, we'd really love to see more good deals posted from you.

ok...no problem. but you used the word "misleading".....and the word compatible isn't misleading IMO (it's a synonym for the word substitute)....as with any deal, you have to read the fine print, and I don't feel this time it was misleading. Obviously I have no control how Meritline protrays this deal, but I did intentionally leave the word BROTHER out in my title next to the ink descriptor to avoid that confusion. Like I said, I really do believe most people "get it" and aren't confused, or think they are getting the brand name here.

you might have misread this, but i think your implication that anyone is trying to mislead anyone is pretty weak. It says it's Brother LC75 Compatible and is very clear about that everywhere on the Meritline page. They have to mention the brother LC75 since that's the words people will be searching
This compatible inkjet cartridge is neither made nor endorsed by the OEM manufacturer.

Dont even mess with these. Go to Inkowl.com or eBay and get the CIS (continuous Ink Supply ) for the brother printers. Best investment you will make for a printer. I have a system on my personal one at home and two on each of my apartment complexes for the past 3 months. Get the ones that are the really long cartridges that fit in the printer. They hold the door open but has a little plastic piece that fits in the hole that allows it to print.

WRONG!!
if you pay $1-$1.50 per cart and then recycle them for $2 at Staples/OD/OM....your idea is a MONEY LOSER!

Just a question as I have just started with the Brother printer route...Will Staples take these LC75s? Heard a report someone was having a problem getting rewards with these, hoping it's just a one-off with a cranky Staples employee. As to CARTRIDGEWAREHOUSE via Amazon, amazingly fast shipping.

I use CIS on my Epson for the convenience factor. No need to swap out cartridges when empty. My CIS will run for months if not years. But it comes at a higher upfront cost.

The whole brother thing sucks. Even if u don’t use the ink or the printer these cartridges needs to be replaced every six months. I just fill in black ink in all cartridges and use it. It’s very cheap and I don’t care about col printing. Mostly I use for FW coupon prints.

My time and gas is way more valuable than carrying cartridges back and forth to Staples. For the occasional user, this is a fine deal and they will get to say that they made money on ink... yippee... In the long run, the CIS is the only way to go. I bought 500 ml of black ink for less than $12 shipped a few days ago. Do you have any idea how many of those "baby cartridges" you would have to buy to match that and the time to replace them? Thanks..

The one that OP has listed may be different (I'm not really sure)

The LC75 type cartridges do work in my MFC-J430W. They do look different from the ones that come with the printer, but with a little fiddling, they work fine for me.

RE: fiddling

I had to go back and check my facts.
LC71 (reg. capacity) and LC75 (high capacity) are the OEM standard cartridge shape for the MFC-J430W. If they are made properly, they WILL fit. I am wondering if the person who posted the reviews is confused or was shipped the wrong item.
What I was thinking of is the LC79 series which apparently ALSO works in this printer (although not officially sanctioned by Brother). I had bought some of those off eBay and had to wiggle them a bit to get them into the slots. But they fit fine, no cutting or gluing involved.
