I've been receiving my free Wall Street Journal everyday for the past couple weeks. I really enjoy it. Unlike most free subscriptions, I might actually pay to keep it. Let's see if Barron's turns out to be similar.

I'm getting free WSJ this year. It's OK but I wouldn't pay for the editorials and slanted coverage. I'll pass on Barrons and save a tree but I might try Investor's Business Daily if offered free.

If you think WSJ is slanted or biased, then don't bother with the IBD as the last I looked they seemed further right than the John Birch Society. To each their own. The WSJ coverage of Arts and Culture has improved vastly from a few years ago and I think their editorials have an occasional centrist bent...unlike their nominal owner, Murdoch/News Corp.
