OUCH! Paid $75 for this exact model a year ago from the Egg. I'm not saying this isn't a deal...I just can't believe how much this went up in price.

co-amazed. at 'normal' price trend of any other computer parts, this should be $50 now.

You can get the 7200 rpm version at Amazon for the same price, I ordered one last week.

As long as people keep posting that $110 is a good deal and people buy them, what incentive do the manufacturers have to increase supply and lower price? Step 1) stop posting $110 as good deals (there's been a few). Step 2) stop buying them until the price come down further. I've held off my next drive purchase until it comes down at least $30 if not $40. It will happen sooner if people just followed the above simple to follow instructions.

The price of Hard Drives has increased because a while back there was bad flooding in Thailand where the drives are produced which caused plant shut downs and the companies have just now gotten back to full capacity so you should see prices start dropping in the next 3 to 6 months. Thankfully memory production wasn't effected because it is ungodly cheap now days, lol.

It has to help the SSD companies out a little.
