Was at Staples this evening and noticed that the HP G6-1B60US at the Falls Church VA store is on clearance for $399 - $50 HP rebate. I knew while in there that I had a $100 coupon good for clearance desktops and laptops in my "coupon wallet".

So sat down at the in-store kiosk and printed the $100 coupon from my staplesrewards.com coupon wallet and did a little research on the laptop before pulling the trigger. Laptop seems to get good reviews for things like 7hr battery life and overall construction/performance (not perfect, but relatively good) so I went ahead and got the last one at that store.

Can anyone else with StaplesRewards account comment as to whether they also have the $100 coupon or not? Also for the clearance part, I walked in the front of the store and there was a yellow "Clearance" cardboard podium in the laptops section with SKU's currently on clearance. Laptop was not on display.

You may also be able to stack a $25 off $75 (or off $100) coupon in addition to the clearance coupon. I'm actually embarrassed to say that I don't know if it will stack even though I had a $25 off $100 on me at the time and just assumed I couldn't stack it so didn't ask. Shame on me! But after posting this I see it on SD and saw a few others that have had success doing so. So you may even get out the door for $225 + Tax!

Good luck!

I have the $100 coupon. Printed it today. Didn't see this laptop at one store, maybe at another...

Thanks. Have those coupons. Looking 4 it tomorrow.

This deal has been out for about three days. I looked all over the Staples stores in my area and couldn't find any in stock.

SKU is 392010.
You can use http://sd.site88.net/ for inventory check.

SKU is not valid

Getting the same error, but if you play around with the zip codes, eventually you will find one that works.

When you enter the sku and zip, hit tab instead of enter.

Yep, that works if I just tab through the selections. Item shows clearance with limited stock... instead of the invalid SKU using the submit button.

I am not in the Staples Rewards (as far as I know) but did get 2 Staples Emails with the clearance coupon.

At the bottom of the coupon it states these terms:
Discount applies to clearance laptop and desktop computers only. Not available in all stores. While supplies last. Display models included. Each item purchased can only be discounted by one coupon, applied by cashier in order received and prior to tax.

So I would be surprised if you could stack a second coupon, that would be a big YMMV if a store would allow the second coupon.

I am not seeing any info on the HP Rebate mentioned. Is this offer on the HP Web site? DO the stores have info on the HP rebate?

Where are you seeing another coupon that would conflict with the one you are referring to?

OK, over the years though in my exp the usage of more than one is up to the cashier you get...
Or if the register will take it.
Sometimes yes, sometimes no..

Thanks again JAG...! I saw that same display board you mentioned. There is more than one. There was another one by the geek counter that had more LT's on it. The second board had a really good deal on a 14" Toshiba. But I wanted this screen size.

Picked up this HP DV4 4141US for 299 AR. It was new in box. They had an HP quad core AMD that I wanted more. It had a numeric keypad. But it was a display model that looked like farmers were shopping it after the flea market. No offense to fleas or farmers. Turns out I don't use the KB anyway.

This thing is fast for me considering I only recently upgraded my DT to 2 GB. Guess I'll keep it. They wouldn't let me stack anything. And the MGR would only knock 5% off the farmer laptop. So..nah.

Just noticed the box, this one has a 640GB HD & the I3. I see some come w/ only 500GB. Still not sure what it can or can't do. Has HDMI. And I also picked up This. Works pretty good really. For the price, anyway.

I cannot access coupon wallet from the phone. It keeps saying error, try later. I am logged in and can view purchase history and all that except the coupon wallet is a problem. Anyone with this experience?

I stopped by my local Staples that showed limited stock when I checked through the inventory link above. It was in stock, but not on clearance and price was $499 with the rebate offer from HP. So it definitely was a YMMV. They had a Intel based 14 inch screen unit that was $475 but probably would require purchasing the display unit to use the clearance coupon.

Took me 'this' long to figure out I have a 14 inch screen on this model. Duh. I guess the 4141 in the model# should have been a clue. I'm used to it now (both the senility & the size of this monitor).

Hard to believe I overestimated the size of something. I never do that.

Speak to the store manager, advise him of the issue, surely he can authorize the offer..
