this is the page for the firmware that u can use to match which carrier band you are on , it does not list the united states because this model is an international unlocked version and it multi band and i believe you are coverd with T-Mobile but i doubt AT&T
How do I upgrade the Firmware? Sorry, I never used an Android device (or Tablet) before.
Regrading the 3G, is it Micro SIM or Regular SIM? What are AT&T's settings? Where to add the settings in the Tablet?
Suppose I get a SIM from AT&T, say with $15 per month plan, can I get the Firmware update OTA?

can this be used on Sprint Carrier (CDMA, no SIM Card)? I was under the impression that you cannot do so, but I've seen multiple eBay ads stating that unlocked galaxy Tablets can be used within the Sprint network as well. (I have searched this subject on multiple sites including android forums, but no straight answers)

Seller e-mailed me that units are 'not sealed', but they are indeed factory unlocked and directly from Samsung and unopened. There is just no seal on them.
Seller responds e-mails quickly even in the weekends. I think s/he is trustworthy.

a lot of Canadians are selling these on craigslist at 350. many of them Rogers employees getting these at 150 each with 1 year data plans; or free after sign up for the tv/phone bundle plans. i got one myself but it sucks that it can't make phone calls via GSM network nor send/receive SMS. hope someone can crack this limitation soon.
