According to one of the reviews and the fine print on the box this are really 5 packages inside the box (two bars inside the package.)

Yes, it is indeed 5-two bar packs.. if you zoom in on the product image on Amazon it does say so !!

I'm a big fan of the regular Cliff bar. It is a substantial snack when you are hungry. I bought a box of the Peanut Butter Crunch bars when I saw the Cliff name. Like Dealfinder200x said, You get 5 packages in the box. Each package has 2 bars. These bars are the thin, granola type, and are very brittle. Not the nice chewy Cliff bars that we all know and love.

They were tasty, but I would not buy them again.

Amazon's $10 list price is wrong; these list for $3.49 and can often be found for $2.99 at local stores.

What is the point of these bars? The regular Clif bars are designed for athletes. They are full of calories to keep you going during endurance events. These crunchy Clif bars are too crumbly to eat while bicycling and they have too many calories for an afternoon snack. Packing 2 bars in one package encourages you to eat 2 bars at once, doubling your price and doubling your calorie intake.

No intention to thread-crap, this is a good price for what it is; but once you have a Probar, you'll never go back to anything less.

I think the peanut butter crunch for under .50 ea is a good deal. They sell for over $1 in my Kroger. Unless these are smaller.
