Thanks op. ordered one, just for fun.

I might be tempted if they didn't look so dorky

these glasses scream "beat me up " either that or they think you are one in the B52"s band,,,or you can use them at the airport so you can see the TSA perverts getting their Jolllys behind you..

I was thinking they might be good for bicycling, so I read the reviews. Three reviews suggest that it might be dangerous when you need to concentrate mostly on looking forward, and one review specifically says great for bicycling.

Hell, it's under $3 to risk. Why not? In for one.

In for one. Now I just need to find a pair of X-Ray Specs, some Sea Monkeys, and the amazing 100-piece toy soldier collection (with authentic army Foot Locker).

They'd be great for a Blues Brothers costume.

For $2.99 shipped, why not? In for one.

between these to see behind me and texting i may never look forward again

It sounds interesting. I will have a try on this cool rear view sunglasses. But wear it at class, that's crazy.

I used to deliver furniture for a living and actually used glasses just like these, I was always the guy walking backwards and they really did helped out ALOT!

talk about peripheral vision.

why not, in for 1!

In for 3! Thx

One cannot look forward without knowing where one has been.

I.E. In for 1 for my kids

in for 1 for summer.thanks OP

Since when do teachers and students wear sunglasses in the classroom?

Indeed. I guess they could mean during recess...but when I was a kid and wore sunglasses during recess, it brought on endless criticism.

Great for grad gift to wear during job interview with special agent

why?

because they would make you look "dorkier"?

I would not want to know anyone who would actually wear these ugly things.

Ah-hah! I knew there had to be more. Apparently these have a secondary function of outing friends who are excessively concerned with appearances.

I like this usage example; spying on the ladies!

I had these as a kid. They're a toy. Not meant for fashion or eye protection. They're extra wide because they have to be. The mirrors on the sides need to reflect what is behind your head. All that being said; they work pretty good, are fun, and well worth $3.

In for one, just for fun.

Received. They look like they weren't handled carefully in the factory, almost smudged or something. Slapped 'em on while on a low-traffic area of highway. They're actually pretty decent.

I usually am uncomfortable wearing sunglasses but these are not uncomfortable. They're not as distracting as the reviews made it seem. The rear-view section is only in peripheral vision, there's a decent field of unobstructed view. Looking off to the side the mirroring is clear enough, and if I need to look at something there I can focus beyond the mirror; it doesn't block forward peripheral vision.

Much better than expected.

I received a pair of these yesterday. I tried them while riding my bike this morning (my intended use), but will not use them for this anymore.

I find that I have to turn my head 30-45 degrees in order to see car approaching from behind me. This is somewhat distracting while riding a bicycle. They also have blind spots where the mirror section is. The blind spots are not too bad because the forward, unobstructed view is good.

They are somewhat cheap plastic, but still comfortable to wear and worth the $3. I may give them to my 7 year old nephew. He will enjoy them.

I got these to play pranks on the kids.... I bet I know how many fingers you hold up behind my back... LOL

I feel like i'd get confused, but looks interesting

I'll have to try them on the bike, as that was my intention too...but in the car I didn't have to turn my head very far to see behind me, and on the bike without them I already have to turn my head 120+ degrees to see behind me.
