Nice buy - whether you use it for recycling or not... The same can in black is $15.47.

The black one I thought was $9.xx and that was an ongoing regular price. Unless it was actually a lesser-duty roughneck. I've been surprised at how weak some of the things they call roughneck are getting.

My order was cancelled. System says there are 6 in stock.
Online CS says call the store. Store says they dont know what happened. They put me on hold so someone could go and bring it to the front desk. Suggest I come-in and by it. I tell them I am resubmitting my order and will pick it up later.
Most likely someone was too lazy to simply process the order. That or they didn't know how to process the order but instead of asking someone for help they cancelled it out right. I've seen that happen a few too many times.

hmmm. I was not impressed with this the other day when I saw, plastic seemed thin. Bought a black one 2 yrs ago at target and got its first hole within 1 yr, and now the bottom is half covered in duct tape....

They wanted to call these "Tenderneck" but thought it might dampen sales.

Whats the point of having a trashcan/recycle can having no wheels? Don't people need to move these around? Curious.

For most of the applications I would use this for, I wouldn't need wheels. Thought they would be nice as long as I can lock the wheels to keep it from rolling.

You gotta be kidding me.... A comment like this coming from a resident of the "greatest nation on Earth."
Unless you are uselessly elderly or infirmed... here's a hint: It has 2 handles. (figure it out)
Out with the old... In with the NEW. The bold white recycling logo makes me feel bad (for not really recycling) but I'll get over it. Already have.

I bought the black one when it was on sale for holding aquarium water. Unfortunately plastic is thin, and it leaked with the first time holding water. It is still good to have around for when there's bbq in the backyard though.

To each their own ... I would only get a trash can with wheels.
Try "lifting" your fully loaded trash can all the way to the end of the driveway once a week! I betcha you'll drag that thing plenty until you wear through the bottom!

REALLY?!! . . . It's 32 gal. NOT 80 gal. There is a 32 Gal. trashcan that does have wheels (made specifically for little girls (it comes in 3 colors: pink, hot pink, & fuchsia))

Fight nice.....
Where i live they ask us to use 33 gallon or smaller for recycling. Bigger cans = heavy loads. makes it harder for the guys to lift and empty in the trucks
zcm923c0 said: DelChuckles said: order cancelled, freaking idiots!
Who's the idiot for trying it in the first place when it obviously was illegit?
What makes you think this isn't legit? I just picked up 2 this morning at this price

Option 2 - trash bags.
Trash bags don't work for us unless clear. They pick up regular trash and recycing on same day, so a dark bag gets put on trash truck, not recycling truck

Easy KYBOSH, the almightly knower-of-truth, after you fill the recycling items, don't you have to haul it to the car, to the curb? that was my point.

My apologies HyperX. I must have been in an odious mood the other day.

Been using two of these for trash for a couple of years now, stored outside in New England weather and they almost look new still. Of course you can't drag it around on pavement (no wheels) but I really like it's size as they fit into my Passat wagon (most trashcans are a little too tall).
I won't hesitate to buy these again if mine ever wear out.
