Very nice kit. I use it all the time. Great price. Thanks OP.

Never shop at Home Depot because of TRE!

Buy online with in-store pickup... $28.88 Aargh.

Because that would be just too convenient. But thanks for the post, hope 'supplies last' until I get there!

Why does the weekly flyer say 28.88?

My zip code in California is $18.88

Turned into 28.88 for me too

$28.88 in the circular for me in MA too...

That's right, shoot yourself in the other foot too. If you see a good deal, take it. Falling on your sword because their return policy seems a bit drastic.

In my add (NY) for $18.88

Somebody help me out here. Most of the tools included are pretty common. Other than being color coordinated, why would I want this kit? The wire strippers and circuit tester might be had by fewer people, but screwdrivers, wire cutter, needle nose and a torpedo level are usually had by all but the most novice of DIYers.

I could see getting this kit and storing a few other things in it like electrical tape and then if I have an electrical project this belt is my one stop shop? Not sure that's $20 (w/ tax) of convenience I need. Plus, it seems like no matter what project I start on I usually go back to the tool bench at least twice anyway!

More retailers should be doing this

We used paypal at our store and they locked our account for 6 months and then closed it. Held all the funds in the account for 6 months also before releasing. They did this because we sell firearms and ammunition.

And PP spend @ Home Depot is related to the hold because...

....if ya gonna be stoopid, might as well jump in with both feet.

It doesn't contain butt crack caulk.

Nevermind, got confused, that's in the Plumber's kit not the Electrician's kit.

how does this work? do you have to enter your password?

i would never type my paypal password into a public machine, even if it is a POS system that handles my credit card data. even typing in email address, i dont know, too many eyes and cameras everywhere. maybe im crazy.

if it was app/NFC based, i would probably be more inclined to support this idea. i do like using paypal as a buyer, but I only really hear horror stories from businesses who try to use them.

edit: for anyone else wondering, i cant be waiting around for a reply or expect an explanation, so here is a youtube video outlining how it works at POS.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8P9qT9EIVk

seems like it will meet my requirements, not needing to provide your paypal password. i do not quite understand the use case where you swipe your paypal card, as you could just use the card as a normal mastercard in the same way... but whatever, this is cool!
