that's a nice fridge for $800

That's a good price. Are Kenmore fridges any good?

I got this same fridge about a year ago at slightly lower price. It's great! Water filters are cheap on Amazon and lots of space to work with.

Oh and it doesn't use much energy at all.

In for one, great deal. $69 for delivery. My current fridge is going to the garage.

Looks a lot like my whirlpool gold on the inside. Whirlpool manufactured my Kenmore dishwasher. Some models may be built by other companies, but just saying it looks very Whirlpool.

If I have it delivered, I end up saving $35 total! :/

Where do you live that would cost over $500.00 in shipping fees?

SEARS35 promo code for an extra 35$ off.

Almost 50% off, great price.

use APPLIANCE coupon code for $50 off.

577 Kwh estimated yearly usage.

southwest chase card has Sears 15x miles on there website.

The same unit, in black, is available for the same sale price, but has a regular price of $1179.99, and a rating of only 3.5...

Do you get your electricity from AEP OHIO? If so, you can get an easy $50 rebate on this fridge (or any ENERGY STAR) appliance, plus you will get some free CFL bulbs also.

https://www.aepohio.com/save/programs/ApplianceRebateProgram.aspx?ctype=h

They also have a program to haul away your old fridge, then PAY YOU $50.

For NY, unfortunately this one doesn't make the list:

https://www.nysappliancerebates.com/programdetails.aspx

$350 bucks for a CEE 2 or CEE 3 fridge.

FYI, one of the reviews mentions it has black sides

Don't forget Sears "Shop your Way" Rewards.

And buy a SquareTrade 5-Year Warranty for about $200 when they go on sale again.

Yes, the sides will attract a magnet.

I don't know if the front will. The better grades of Stainless will not hold a magnet, due to high nickel content (good).

My LG French Door Model has a front that will not hold a magnet. All the Frigidaires I've tested are magnetic. (I found this out at Best Buy, where I was testing each model I was interested in with a magnet.)

In Massachusetts any Energy Star Refrigerator qualifies for a $50 Rebate, and this Refrigerator is Energy Star, and should qualify.

Can you fit pizza's in the freezer?

Good catch, I was tempted until I saw that.

No interest if paid in full within 12 months when you use a qualifying Sears card on all Appliances items over $499 through 06/07/2012.

For those of us who can't pay cash, this is a great offer, which can save you $200 or more in Interest.

If Sears takes away the old one for free, fine.

But I would never pay the city $20 or more to recycle it.

In many locales, any large metal appliance placed on the curb is quickly snatched by Metal Recyclers.

My busted Water Heater, which I placed on the sidewalk Monday night, disappeared this morning. It took 3 days for them to grab it, which is unusually long. If I had placed it out on Trash Day, it would have been gone in twenty minutes.

Old Car Batteries, Computers (even bare cases), old steel Patio Furniture, Dishwashers, Clotheswashers, it all goes fast.

At around 10 cents per KWH (at least in Chicago area), that would be around $60 a year.

The model number of this fridge starts with 106-5110xxxx. 106 prefix is for Whirlpool per this site.

In consumer report, Kenmore Cold Spot 5110[2] got a pretty low rating.

KenMOre or KenLess = Less money and less quality!

Does this refrigerator come with water filter?
Or I have to buy it from Amazon?

Thanks - btw - all my appliances are Kenmore also and I do not have any problem

linrick said:   Markfaafp said:   KenMOre or KenLess = Less money and less quality! all my appliances are kenmore and never had any problem with them.I've had mixed results. I've had two freezers that died without notice - they were covered, including the food, by a warranty, but still. I've had a washer that had issues within the first year, but nothing since (12 years). Older Kenmore fridge has been fine, as was matching dryer, vacuum and newest Kenmore Freezer.

Overall, I've had better luck with Kenmore than with Craftsman yard tools. I've had a gas blower repaired four times (first two under warranty, 3rd at 50% discount and 4th pending my deciding if I want to keep this up every 18 months). On the other hand, the downtime forces to me to buy a great little Craftsman corded blower for $20 on sale. If it wasn't for the cord, I'd be happy just using it!

Seems like Sears branded stuff can be hit or miss.

Thank you OP. Wanted to jump on the deal, almost got it. However,it is not so simple when I started counting everything.
With $50 off coupon, delivery charge, full 10% tax, and 5-year extended warranty ($329.99 - total rip-off) this Kenmore is $1,199.17 delivered for me. I've got denied online to get their credit card (will get it in the mail weeks later when it is too late) - so no free financing.

Then, compared it to 25.1 cu. ft. Maytag in Monochromatic Stainless Steel at Home Depot, model MSF25C2EXM for $1,078.20 ($1259 at Lowe's).The 4 year warranty is $99.95, there is no delivery charge, HomeDepot.com calculates my tax at 5%, and there is 5% FW CashBack on top of everything. $1,248.84 delivered before CashBack. Since I have their consumer card I went with that - 18 months 0% APR on the purchase.

Still thank you, you will make my wife very happy - our old refrigerator has a 5 sf freezer, and this one is about 10 sf. No need to drive to store every week now to get food

CR also shows a price of $850, so while the current price is low, the $1410 regular price looks like it is frequently discounted.
