I know no state will charge sales tax on after rebate selling price. They all charge tax on the pre-rebate price.

This is probably why states generally spend very little energy policing slimeball rebate houses... because taxing agencies are, in effect, being paid to support the rebate process.

my point really was that it's going to differ from state to state. some people pay no sales tax and make out very well...
a state like CA where they charge 12% or something, gets ripped. if you pay 5-6% it's not too bad. (about .50)

Rebate must be postmarked by 7/31/2012 and received by 8/13/2012 to be eligible. Limit one (1) request per person and one (1) request per household address (except where prohibited by law).

My local WM appears to have this in stock since it says I can order it for in-store pickup today. Home Depot also has it in stock but the price is higher ($11.98). However, if they will PM WM using their website printout, you should be able to get it for $9.75 plus tax, since they are supposed to beat the other price by 10% (and when a store would not do that recently, I complained to corporate and got a $10 gift card out of it!).
The rebate form is broken with Chrome. The website closes the print window before Chrome has a chance to process it. Just do a ctrl-shift-p and print it manually (the format ends up being the same). Oh, and when you go to resubmit it because you couldn't print it, the website says that the address has already been used for a rebate!
