Find me a website that actually tells me where this watch is made, and I'll consider it. I can't find out the country of origin for ANY Nautica watch. So that leads me the same place it always leads. China. All I was able to find out is Nautica is a division of Timex. And these watches have Japanese quartz or Swiss movements. I hate having to dig for info like this. Sellers should be required by law to list country of origin for every item they sell. Especially luxury items like watches.

does it really matter for a 80 dollar watch?? as for myself, i can't careless where the watch is made as long as it functions and is reliable.

I don't own Apple products. And China is known for using harmful materials in their products. Lead and cadmium in jewelry and watches. If you eat it, eat from it or wear it, it'd behoove you to consider other options than made in China items. Ignorance is a big part of the problem. People feel if Chinese items are sold here, they're safe to use and wear. When that couldn't be further from the truth. Also, buying Chinese items supports their slave labor practices and their oppressive system of government. If you care to educate yourself on cadmium and lead in Chinese products type 'cadmium in Chinese' and 'lead in Chinese' in Google and see the plethora of cases, reports, websites, and warnings about it.
