it might be safest to do this deal online with the $25/75 coupon. lots of reports of the $25/75 coupn getting "kicked off" due to the instant $20 recycle credit in the store off the price of the phone, throws the total below $75.
if you proceed online, not an issue as the $20 recycle credit is given AFTER back to your form of payment (ie credit card) when you bring the old phone to the store AFTER you've received the new one

Cheaper than buying battery packs. Anyone know what kind of battery does it include? NICD, NIMH?

did the deal last time with this set. Had no problem in store with coupon and trade in. Only thing is the sales person returned my phone and made it rebuy again with less $20. Hope the rebate still gets approved.

If you have done the trade in in the past. How does it work?

manimiao,
if they did a return/rebuy in the same sales week, a new rebate form should have printed out that you should have to submit again online. (since the first one would likely get "invalidated by return". keep an eye on this.

no the return/ rebuy was done after 1 month when the rebate was no longer valid, i realized it later... but anyways my rebate status says Validation complete, so lets keep fingers crossed. Otherwise I have to take it back to store and ask them to refund me with amount..

I have received a rebate on a returned item. It is all in the timing.... Now I must say, my store has allowed returns beyond the usual return time.....
RE: My: If you have done the trade in in the past. How does it work?
OK, I see in store it is an on the spot $20.00 off It appears only the phone and only one is needed for trade, no base as in the case of 2 or more cordless phones...
I am saving my old landline phone, the real ma bells for when they go for $1,000 each...

Wouldn't the instant $10 drop the phone price to $79.99 and made it not qualified for the trade-in $20?? Since the trade-in requirement is for phone price $85 or more.....

Same here. $14.99 sounds like such a great deal if only i had a hold of this $25 off $75 coupon. I'm wondering how I can, since it seems like its no longer in production. The only way I've seen it is to pay outside websites $2-$3 for a coupon. And even though it ends up saving more... it's still a coupon. I don't want to have to PAY for coupon that most people get free in the mail.

What's Staplez' criteria for sending out coupons? I have no idea. I have been a Rewards member for at least eight years and I have not received a dollars-off coupon directly from Staplez in well over a year, maybe even two or more.

Tried to use a $25/75 coupon and $20 trade-in in store. Wouldn't go through on the computer. Still happy though. Got it for $40 which is still a decent price.
