Both have free shipping, but NE is better processing your order. Maybe shipping out to you 3 or 4 days faster than Amazon can spell the word rain-forest
you could get 3%(or 5%?) cb from Amazon by using their cc though

Pa, CashBack from Amazon cc is nice and NE also has CashBack as well. This is a great USB3.0 deal, which comes down a few pennies difference in unit cost comparing to the 2TB model. I'll be using it to record all my favorite TV shows now.

I got mine from Staples and am using it right now. I also just installed the Hard Disk Sentinel that is free today because the drive crashed just after I moved ALL my big files over to it - my BAD!
I am right now trying to "fix" the disk and move the files I can BACK to the hard drive of origin. The software found major issues right off the bat with the drive...
SO BEWARE!
PS It was my mistake to move my files instead of copying them on the first go around but in all my years I have never had one fail right out of the box!

This drive seems to have consistently worse reviews than other similar drives. A lot of failure out of the box or right after copying files. It's one of the few USB3 3 TB external drives from big-name companies in stock right now, and at a reasonable price, but seems like this model has issues. Too bad, I'm in the market for a 3TB right now.
With Costco purchase you still have option to return after 2 years if it ever fails.

I got the Staples drive and I had same issue! Drive became "dirty" shortly after I copied 1.5TB to the 2TB drive. I had to jump through hoops to get it "repaired" been working fine for 3 days now, but I'm packing up as soon as Shoprunner gets it to me (hopefully) in 2 days. Staples: Thank you for your 14 day return policy!

`DON'T DUE IT, THIS DRIVERS ARE CRAP!, MINE DIED AFTER 1 MONTH AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS AT SEAGATE. These driver get extremely hot and have little ventilation, design sucks. I'm waiting for my replacement for the past 3 weeks! when it does arrive I'm taking it out of the case and using it as an internal with a BIG fan blowing over it. I don't plan to put any info I do not wish to loose

I wish it was portable.
I see a lot of bad reviews for these 3.0 Seagate drives, but my portable 1.5 TB drive I got from that Amazon deal a while back is still working with no probs.
