Both transactions need to be on the same receipt too. Other stores are running a similar deal too buy only bh is running the printer at that price.

The printer alone is a great deal. $149 is well worth the effort needed to mail in a rebate.

I'm including the fact that you'd probably want to sell the printer to get the cost of the camera down even further.

Sounds interesting but note:
1. printer selling for $180-220 on eBay. I'd figure $200 less eBay fees leaves $180. 2. OP is listing lens + body, third post lists body only which explains difference in prices 3. tax in NY on the package will be over $75
Just bought a refurb XS from Canon for 320 but now I found this so return on the other deal

Canon T2i 18-55mm kit w/ Pro9000 Mark II for $598 AR + tax (sell printer on eBay) - B&H
Updated.

Also for anyone looking to add a few lenses.
The 70-300mm comes with an instant $250 rebate when bundled with a Camera body or Kit The 55-250mm comes with an instant $150 rebate when bundled with a Camera body or Kit The 75-300mm Comes with an instant $100 rebate when bundled with a Camera body or Kit
The base price on the lenses is not that great, so you probably would not make a lot of money if you sold them off, but you could add a few nice lenses for a very good price.
I've gotten basically the same deal (T3 kit, 70-300mm, 75-300mm, 55-250mm) on Amazon for as low as $825 total. Right now you can get the same kit and lenses for just over $1000 on B&H
If you bundled the printer it would be $951 after rebate, Maybe $750-775 if you did good on reselling the printer. Not too shabby

no way you'd walk away with $200 after ebaying the printer. Maybe $175 tops. Probably less. eBay, paypal and shipping fees eat up at least 25-30% or more nowadays. eBay's upped their final value fees (plus charge them on shipping - if you happen to charge for shipping). This printer is big and heavy. Plan to double box if you can. Helps prevent shipping damage.

Target has T2i kit on clearance for $489.99 and you can find many stores have them in stock to avoid all the rebate/re-sell.

I did the printer thing last year from Canon's similar rebate last yr. Ignoring the paypal and eBay fees, the most expensive thing is shipping the sucker out. It could easily cost somewhere between $35-$45 ground, depending on the final destination. Make sure buyer pays for shipping. I vaguely remember the printer weighs around 42 lbs.

I doubt I will do this deal because of the hassle, but FYI eBay fees are around 10% plus another 2.5% for Paypal. In this case it would run around $25 altogether. Would make sure to include accurate shipping cost paid by buyer.

Updated. No it isn't. Still says "Canon T2i 18-55mm kit w/ Pro9000 Mark II & Free Shoulder Bag for $486.57 AR"

Nikon D3200 or Sony A57 are better than T2i. T2i is old model, hard to resell now.

The printer has $100 instant rebate, so the final price for printer 9000 is 349. Now the combined $400 MIR states "Neither the Pro9000 Mark II nor the Pro9000 Mark II and Digital SLR American Express Reward Card offers can be combined with any other printer offer or promotion". Do you guys think the $400 MIR will work?

Thanks. I picked up the printer. Printer deal is dead -- $449 now. $449 - $200 Rebate = $249. At that price, you can buy this printer anywhere else between $200 - $250 and not deal with a rebate.
