Warning: I just got these... they are fleece. So not at all what's usable in FL.

I purchased 2 of each color....ad and labels say Material: 100 % Cotton They work fine here and are not what I consider "heavy fleece"...some colors appear more "furry" than others.
Also local tailors want $9 per pair of pants to hem them....pick up some iron on hem tape and it's pretty easy to make the legs the length you want....after washing they needed less work than before so expect SOME shrinkage and I washed them in cold with the dryer set on the dot between Very Dry and "Less Dry"
