Thanks OP. Green for you.

In for one ty op.

This is a "must get" IMHO. Bought it almost a year ago and it is fantastic. Get it...now.

Easily some of the best $10 you can spend on your PC right now.

The future may be different, but currently MBAM is a must have
tool in the fight against malware

awesome program. doesn't really slow performance either.

have been waiting for this moment
THANKS OP, in for two

Last time this deal came up there were reports that when you activated it on a second machine, it stopped being activated on the first, But YMMV.

Will this work with the Norton program that comes with Comcast? Thanks!

Gertrude23 said:   Will this work with the Norton program that comes with Comcast? Thanks! What Norton program is that? I'd expect that it will. I have Norton Internet Security installed and it works fine.

Probably known to most, but there is a free version available with limited functionality. That one already helped me A LOT in the past!

I bought a copy of this last year and activated it on several of my machines without issue.

For $10 (lifetime license?), it's a steal, even for one machine. The paid version has an "active protection module" that the free version does not have, and it can play well with another anti-virus tools like MS Security Essentials. I've set it up a few times with Security Essentials - you should add exceptions to each program so it won't block the other, and that's pretty easy - and noticed no performance issues or problems.

thank op - one for me

In for three

Thanks Scored One

shame you cant just buy the code

Thanks dude! I'll try this one out.

Crap , did the TD deal on this earlier ($12.xx), but could have saved a couple $ through the Egg instead .

Great idea. Thanks for the tip. I guess the free trial is only 14 days now, but I imagine the disc will arrive before then. If not, I'll muddle through somehow. FYI--to get to the "Start Free Trial" button, click on the "Protection" tab of the free version (took me a bit to find it.)

Thanks again.

Malwarebytes has bailed me out many times when the kids XP computers got the fake antivirus virus.
But my mother-in-laws XP computers have had 3 rootkits over the last couple years that Malwarebytes couldn't get rid of.
What did get rid of the rootkits was HitmanPro http://www.surfright.nl/en
By the way all the computers were running updated McAfee antivirus software that failed to protect these computers.

In retrospect I believe it was Adobe flash player vulnerabilities that let the viruses in.
Now I've uninstalled Adobe flash player on all my computers and use Google Chrome browser instead of IE because it has a sand boxed Adobe flash player that can't go beyond the browser into the operating system.
