I've been waffling for a DSLR for a while now, specifically the T2i. So while perusing end caps at Target I had to double-take when I saw a red clearance sticker on a display body. Changing course, I discovered that it was on the T2i, so I was obviously excited. Even more so when I saw the price!
FWIW, this is inline with the Canon *refurb* price (non-loyalty), and Target currently has the T3 on sale for $499. I don't care if you all think this is hot or not (yes, I know the T4i just came out), because I do, and I have a new camera, with warranty.

Are you talking about T2i with 18-55 IS? I bought it 4 weeks ago for $499-5% redcard discount. Great price, excellent camera.
