Anybody have personal experience with this bulb versus the phillips one? I LOVE the color and illumination pattern of the phillips, but it is $20+

Thanks!

You can get a similar one for 40W equivalent for less than $10 at Lowe's.

There are HUGE quality differences between similar looking LED lights. Until you get them home and use them for a while, it is really difficult to tell the good from the bad. You also need to be careful with LED lighting as they can get extremely hot if built poorly. I would stay away from the feit branded ones that are sold at costco.

what a croc these things are..

The manufacturer doesn't list the CRI. So you can be sure it is poor. I wouldn't expect a quality of light even close to a Philips.

got mine. it's has a 65 cri value, 3110k color temperature, 300 lumen output. does not say it is dimmable. i used it to replace a 2.5w (80 lumen) led that was too dim for our front porch light that i leave on 10-12 hrs/night. the cri value wasn't too much of a concern for me because the bulb is behind irisdescent glass in a partially enclosed fixture.
