Why do you say that it is not eligle for the 20% MaxPerks Bonus?
I know that normally, computers are excluded from MaxPerks. However, this time the OM ad specifically states "...including computers" and "For computers and tablets, limit 2 rewards per member." This is on the first page of that 1/2 page. The ad is online and also in hard copy. I don't think this is a misprint, because how can they misprint all of those words. This is for the current 20% maxperk BONUS, and I don't know if it will be accepted for the "standard" maxperk rewards. If just the 20% BONUS, then over $100 back. If standard maxperks applies, then add another $25.

This laptop can potentially be $400 plus tax. Granted it is not a loaded laptop. But, it is an i5 processor.

I bought one today in store and the manager confirmed this (was sold out online earlier). Well, I guess the true test will be in a few days if it shows up in my Maxperks account. But, that would be a helluva misprint screwup on OM's part.

clue,

this laptop is in the their circular, and for whatever reason, there is a disclaimer by the ad saying this particular laptop is excluded from the 20% rewards promotion.

I hope you are right but I based my post on their ad and I don't want to mislead anyone based upon what they are advertising.

If you can confirm for sure this will earn the bonus from OM, let me know. In the meantime, I'm not going to change the verbage since I did double check the hard copy flyer.

Well I purchased one. Not in Chicago area. Hope I can get the Maxperks. I like the computer. Not sure whether to keep it or not if Maxperks does not come through. I was told you can check the status in a few days online to see if they are eligible purchases for Maxperks.

maxperks a no go. Lenovo outlet prices on refurbished laptops are close to 529.00 price. Still not sure whether to keep it or return it within 14 days. Any current deals that beat this for a 17 inch or 15 inch. Thanks for any heads up.
