$88/ea incl tax - $6.88 CashBack (first order already reported) - 1% cc CB - $n.nn SYWR points (dunno how much it actually earns... 1%?). And, I got a $5 "we took longer than 5 minutes" coupon... though they pretended they didn't know what that was until I pointed to the HUGE sign in the waiting area and mentioned that the "8:51" time on the monitor was more than 5:00.

I would love this but I've had several orders with Sears not get fulfilled after I've paid for them. One item even got shipped to the store after I paid and they sold it to someone else and offered me a similar product for $150 more. Not threadcrapping, just giving my experience.

Agree with you about Sears not honoring the orders for pickup. Mine got cancelled without notifying me. Went there and raised hell so the manager had to spend 5 min and order me the cabinets for Thursday delivery in-store. Honored $15 coupon and 5% Sears card discount. So, don't be shy - go and tell them to move their buts and do their job

My local store *never* takes more than 5 minutes ... As soon as they realize that someone has arrived to pickup, they punch the big red button to say 'done', *then* go to spend 15 minutes looking in back for the item ... Finally give up, head out on to the floor, find the item is OOS, give some bull$h!7 excuse, and process the refund as 'customer changed their mind refund'.

I would really like this but I've had several purchases with Sears not get satisfied after I've compensated for them. One item even got delivered to the shop after I compensated and they marketed it to someone else and provided me a identical item for $150 more. Not threadcrapping, just providing my encounter.

I actually have different experiences.. they never hit the DONE button until they are about 5-10 seconds from coming out their stock door with my item. Never had them pull a fast one on me.. I'd rip them a new one if they did that. I also have never had them pull the OoS manuever on me. I guess I am lucky or this store may be taken care of?

Not far from what usually goes on here... but since I had _3_ orders (actually was 2 online orders of cabinet and filler linked in my earlier post, but they split one of the orders). So there were _3_ orders in the queue... and they forgot to cheat the system on all 3. Thus, the 3rd one was still ticking when they came out with my order. If they're going to cheat the system, they need to get better at it. Bastages.

Got two in two separate orders with filler to maximize the 15% off deals and they had them ready for me to go within about 3 minutes. No problems. As with anything, it depends on the location of the store you go to I guess.

awesome, in for one (though its not in stock around me so we'll see how that goes). if it goes through, thats a great buy as I've heard good things about these. I've been meaning to pick one up to finish out the storage in my new garage.

What are people doing with these? I have several $30 gorilla racks that each hold more than these cabinets (deal is now expired), so even at this price of $85 bucks, what makes it so much better than a shelf? Perhaps keeping herbicides locked up? Keeping dust off? Mounted and off the ground? The fashion of diamond plating? I guess I don't see the value over cheaper alternatives, even with the sale.

They are VERY heavy weight steel cabinets, which means they'll hold lots of weight, will probably last much longer than thinner metal or other materials, they are locking, have magnetic clasps for the doors, etc. I've got many many thousands of dollars of storage equipment in my garage, and these are definitely the best wall cabinets I've owned. However, it's not for everyone... and if your budget doesn't call for this grade of product, you definitely won't find value, even at the OP price.

Dotbody, I agree, but it is a good deal. I don't care for the diamond plating-it makes it look cheap and cheesy.

Requirements differ. The cabinets provide clearance below them for car doors to open or equipment to be stored (e.g. bikes). If you can afford to have the storage go to the floor, then a shelf may work. Also, these are enclosed vs. an open shelf. Again, it is about your requirements.
For some reason I cannot get the JUNESAVINGS to work. I added the 89 cent filler.
Edit - HOTSAVINGS worked.

Thanks for all the helpful comments. I do think these are a good deal for what they are.
For me, I think I'd prefer to go a cheaper route. For example, you can get *3* of these 2-door cabinets for $107.97. They're not as nice looking or as durable as the heavy duty steel cabinets in this thread, but I'd rather save $147 bucks ($255-$108) and use that money to fill the cabinets with tools and equipment, and would work just as well for my non-heavy-duty purposes. $147 can buy a lot of stuff!

Thank you. I wanted to go that route as well - $90 is too much money for me to spend for a cabinet, and Suncasts were in my list as well. The problem with Suncast units is that the plastic shelves do not hold well any weight over 30 lbs. Motor oil, paint, brake parts - my cabinets hold about 100 lbs each. The lower Suncast shelf start bowing out if you load anything heavy on it - it is just not sturdy enough. Originally, I wanted to get regular unfinished kitchen cabinets for about $80 each, but for $10 more Gladiators look like a good option.

Green for you OP. This is a very good deal. I have four of them. They're not the assemble-yourself garbage but are actually very heavy-duty.

Does it make a big difference how one hangs these? I have Gladiator track and don't really need the wall panel. Can these be directly mounted on the wall? If not, do I need to get 2 track panels to support them top & bottom? I'd think they'd be too heavy (especially when full) to rely on just one track.

You can mount them directly to the wall (directly into studs) or use two track pieces (not included) and the included mounting brackets. I have done both. By yourself, it is easier to use the track pieces. It will stick out a little but due to the tracks and brackets, but it is easier to temporarily remove if you ever needed.
