1 size fits all? 40 lb's shipping weight? My local bike shop has fixies for a little over than the price, but you get fitted and 1 year free maintenance. Not a deal to me.
I think the point is that you can buy a cheap steel framed fixie with a flip flop hub for much less than any of my local bike shops. Yes the quality may not be the best, and yes WalMart probably didn't put it together right, but $100 to find out if this is something you enjoy. I think it is worth it if you can't find a similarly priced option at a 'real' bike shop in your area.
