I bought a few of these at Madison Heights, MI. See attachment.

These are always YMMV since local utility companies have varying subsidies.

Any way to check local Costco inventory?

This brand is Feit, which I've purchased from Costco over the years. They seem to burn out at a much higher rate than CFLs are purported to, almost as frequently as regular bulbs.

I am not disagreeing with you, but the CFLs I bought at Home Depot have also burnt out faster than regular bulbs.

Attached picture of price sign in OP shows the $4.70 local utility company "discount".
The same warehouse location probably has utility IR on other CFLS.
Various local utilities offer various discounts at various times on CFL's and LED's at Costco (presumably elsewhere too). Sometimes nearby warehouses are located in service areas of different utilities and have different after IR prices on some of the bulbs.
OP, good find, but should add at least YMMV to title.

The last pack I bought has the "newwer" feit bulbs. Not sure if they hold up better or not. But save the old ones if they burn out and just return.

BUT check the voltage at your light socket. If it varies to much or is below 117volts then the problem is not the bulb but your wiring and/or socket.
I have the older Fiets and have only had maybe 6-7 go out in five years, some of them because they got paint on them when we were remodleing so just as much our fault.

Also, CFL bulbs that are turned on for relatively short periods then off will tend to burn out in fewer hours of use than bulbs that are left on for longer periods at a time. Nature of the beast, something like rated gas mileage on automobiles.

That said, did get a batch of FEIT bulbs that started to fail very quickly, all same lot, no problem returning to Costco and buying replacements (different lot number on the bulbs) which seem fine.

Have had some CFL bulbs of various "brands", which does not necessarily indicate the actual "manufacturer" in the case of CFLs and some other products. The "guarantee" needs to be processed through with the "brand" representative and in some cases with relatively inexpensive items, "manufacturers" require you to ship back the item at your cost for more than the item costs.

These are only $0.59 +tax after the rebate at my Costco.
