Just walked in today to get a desktop for my father in law.
Found this in the clearance section
HP Omni Pro 110
Intel E5700 dual core 3.0 Ghz 4GB ram 20" screen, keyboard and mouse.
Just hooked it all up and works great!!!!!
Who would have thought I would get such a freaking deal from WalMart.

It is a freaky deal because it was very likely available in that store only.

bingo, finding a deal similar to this will be like finding a needle in a haystack. That said, if even one person replicates this deal it's worth posting.

probably online return they thru on the shelf...

The associates will get them first anyway.

Could you post a scan of your receipt? I once got a WM B&M (located on the East Coast of the USA) to PM an item to a WM located somewhere in the midwest (maybe Chiacgo) by presenting evidence of the lower price at the Chicago WM. (The item was reduced at that Chicago WM only). It wasn't an easy or fun PM process. Was intially rejected in-store, but the asst-store mgr claimed he would discuss w/ the store mgr and get back to me. Left my name & number, and incredibly, the asst-mgr followed through! He called back to advise that my PM was approved, but that I'd have to wait a few days until the store reached its following month's in-store product write down budget (or some pool of discount money that resets monthly).

WM clearly states their pricing varies by location......
The PM was in error......

Or, the OP may have "switched" the price either "secretly" or "blindly" "accidentally"

When the item is scanned, the register will show what the item is, and so will the clearance tag...
Clearance prices are in their system.

Guys the item was open box. So I was skeptical at first. I asked the associate if everything is included. And he added 15 day return policy too. So for my father inlaw everything was in the screen which made it more interesting.
I saw price tag of 398.00 at first I thought ok that must be a clearance price.
So I picked it up and took it with the associate to ring it up at the phot lab counter.
I didn't pay attention he told me the total. He did have a funny smile on his face as if "here you go buddy, here's one good deed for the day" look.
I was quite and quickly slid my credit card and was anxious for the receipt.
Eureka!!!' even this morning I kept screaming in the house 75% off who could have thought this would be waiting or me to please and surprise my father inlaw with.
Such a rush!!!
Dude I didNt care what the register showed and all. I heard $163 total and it blew my mind!!!!

Plus when I unpacked at his home. It was pristine! All plastic wrapped like new, turned it on, all systems go!!! No dead pixels nothing.
I checked what components registered under device manager....we were Golden.

Going back 2 years, I went to a WM and far removed from the electronics dept was an end cap of HP 6 sealed laptops....
All marked 1/2 price of what they were marked, I took them all....

Also my newly remodeled Target had cell phones on clearance and far removed from the usual area....
They were discontinued Verizon prepaid, I took them all. 1/2 price of what they were getting for them....

TARGET WAS NOT ENFORCING THE 2 CELL PHONE LIMIT ON CLEARANCE ONES.
