I've never used one of these, but this seems like a sweet deal. I recommend comparison-shopping at Amaz0n first to see what your true savings are. On a cursory glance, this seems to be a legit deal.

Have they kept up the practice of slowly increasing the distance between the front of the unit and the vacuum channel? It used to be under 1/8" but it expanded to 1/2" as of a few years back.
