Since this also qualifies for the upgrade rebate (if you haven't done it before)...it turns into a MM...which, of course, increases the demand.

May not be a slam dunk...

From the $25 UPGRADE requirements-- "the original UPC code(s) from the eligible product(s) purchased."

From the $35 rebate requirements-- "Cut out and enclose the ORIGINAL UPC code from the product packaging"

I understand the common "Proof of purchase" on one of the inside flaps (Norton does this, I don't know about Kaspersky specifically), but "UPC" is a very specific thing, and I can't imagine there being _2_ UPC's on the product. It's probably worth a stamp... and then if denied, you can always send them a PDF of the UPC as "proof."

It does look like they cut and pasted the wrong terms for this one. Given a person could not qualify for both (since the package only has one UPC), it just looks like a wording error on their part.

I've never had a problem with Kasp. rebates, so my suggestion would be to send a copy of the UPC since it's only a 45 cent gamble.

As have I, and none have ever asked for original UPC on the upgrade rebate. I agree, this is probably a typo, but it's also in black and white if they want to balk at payment.
