Robot Chicken: Star Wars
Produced in collaboration with Lucasfilm, this thirty-minute spoof of the Star Wars film series was directed by Seth Green and made its world premier on the Cartoon Network's popular Adult Swim block of late-night programming. With vocal performances by Seth MacFarlane, Conan O'Brien, Hulk Hogan, Malcolm McDowell, Robert Smigel, Joey Fatone, George Lucas, and the Jedi master himself, Mark Hamill, this all-star parody of key scenes and beloved characters from the famed sci-fi film series is sure to keep fans in stitches. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Robot Chicken: Star Wars - Episode II
If you thought you'd seen the last of Robot Chicken: Star Wars, then brace yourself for the most hilarious sci-fi spoof this side of the universe. It's take-you-daughter-to-work day at the Galactic Empire, and the At-At races are about to get underway. The Ewoks have gone completely mad, and with a little luck, perhaps even Boba Fett will turn up for a surprise appearance. Seth Green takes the helm for a parody featuring the voices of Billy Dee Williams, Carrie Fisher, Ahmed Best, Andy Richter, and more. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Robot Chicken: Star Wars III
Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader, Boba Fett and Gary the Stormtrooper embark on a hilarious trek through the stars as the Robot Chicken gang delivers another irreverent round of sci-fi parody. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

It's a parody of Star Wars with Robot Chicken.

Knowing nothing of Star Wars other than it's name.
Is Robot Chicken a character in the the movies?

What the hell is a aluminum falcon?

I got it. Thank you very much.

Robot Chicken is an animated show -- more stop action with things like action figures than cartoon animation. Three times they have done episodes that poke fun
at various scenes and characters from the Star Wars films. They are each a series of short animation scenes rather than acting out of the movies. Seth Green, who does
the voice of the son on Family Guy is one of the main guys behind Robot Chicken, so if you have seen the Family Guy Star Wars parodies, you will understand the
debate between Chris and Peter at the end of (I believe) the second Family Guy parody.

So this is not the original Star Wars movies?
I take it it is a knock off cartoon....
Why has that not been said before...????
As in the original post...

Why have you not said this is a cartoon knock off and not the original movies?

yesidonoitall said:   Why have you not said this is a cartoon knock off and not the original movies? First, it's not a knockoff. It's a paradoy. Satire. Second, in OPs description it does say Cartoon Network.

I don't know how to make it any more clear that this is not the Star Wars films, it is the Robot Chicken Star Wars films, as I said.

Well, I prefer movie, not a parody. Boo

How in the worlds would those not familiar with Star Wars know the chicken is not part of it.
HOW?

Robot Chicken Star Wars trilogy
To me it says, 3 disc on Star Wars the movie

How in the world (not "worlds") would you know?

1) Reading my post
2) Reading other people's responses
3) Clicking on the link
4) The title of the DVD set
5) Doing any kind of internet search on the phrase "robot chicken"
6) Your onscreen name seems to mean "yes I do know it all" (though you don't know how to spell "know") so we assume that you understand every single post here.

Apart from that, you are correct, I did not come over to your house and explain it all to you, so I am not sure how you would have
been able to figure it out.

Chicken Carbonite is pretty tasty IMHO!

A very small number of people are interested in these type movies...

I should not have to.

Re read please...

If you are not interested in this type of DVD (it is not a movie, and no one said it was), why do you continue to follow this thread?
You don't have to do any search -- all of the info was in my original post, and you even copied it in your reply. I was giving you additional ways that you
would be able to figure this out.
I think you should do some re-reading. I even put things in bold and underlined them so that it would be easier for you to see.

It looks like you only use FW to try to find things to resell on eBay. Obviously you feel this deal won't be a moneymaker for you. So be it.

Thanks OP, Robot Chicken is fantastic, just saw the 2nd and 3rd episodes on the tube a few months ago. Definitely worth owning.

If you truly know nothing, it wouldn't matter. You wouldn't know that it's not the original Star Wars.

But seriously, I don't watch Robot Chicken but reading the OP's detail post, I knew it was not the original but a spoof.

The op does not state SPOOF that I can read.
The "DETAILED POST" reads as commentary.....

Not only did my original post say "Spoof", I later underlined it for you. I also said "parody". Both of these things are even in your quote of my post, so you have proof that it was there when you ready my post. Seriously, though, why are you still following this post? This will not help you make money on eBay, so you can stop reading posts about it.
In case you are still coming back here, this is the exact line of my post that says "spoof":

Robot Chicken: Star Wars - Episode II
If you thought you'd seen the last of Robot Chicken: Star Wars, then brace yourself for the most hilarious sci-fi spoof

How are you not able to read that? You copied that line in your reply "Date Posted: Jun/28/2012 9:13 PM"

A. Go watch Star Wars. Use Google to find 'Star Wars Machete Order'. Follow those directions to get the best viewing experience (you will watch 5 out of the 6 movies).
B. Use Google again to find 'Han shot first'. Come to realize that this is not how you watched the first movie.
C. Watch the Robot Chicken and Family Guy spoofs of Star Wars. I recommended alternating between the two, starting with Robot Chicken. RC1, FG1, RC2, FG2, RC3, FG3.

You will now be caught up with society on most everything Star Wars.
