From what I've read online on these, they were selling at TRU in Q4 2011 for $149.99. On BF they sold a boatload at $75. It's now listed at $99.98. If the defects have been corrected during the refurb process this might be a good deal at this price. Reminder that DS does not accept returns.

Android 2.2 BTW. WinCE model sold in CVS may have been 800MHz processor, otherwise same, along with many unbranded models out there.
Oh, and there are 3 USB ports (2 side/1 rear) though one may be "Factory Use Only" (?)
Oh, and you need to buy the whole lot. I was just pointing out that there's a ton of these out there, not that there was a better deal to be had. Sorry for the confusion.

Same specs as far as I can see, but they may have updated the wireless.
You can root, and add Google Play, but I couldn't find anyone who has gone past 2.2. Highly doubt ICS, especially with just 256MB. Check out http://www.androidtablets.net/forum/sylvania-tablets/27218-synet... for most helpful discussion I could find. On page 2 there's a link to Product info on Sylvania's site and there you can download the 18-page User Guide.
According to the User Guide it has the YouTube app pre.installed.

about 3-4 years ago i bought three maxtor 160 gb drives from them. they came in cheap looking retail packaging. i sold one to a guy who asked me after if it was counterfit. i griped at him but later i was wondering if he might be right.
