Best Buy has put the old Seagate 1.5 TB drives with USB 2.0 GoFlex Desk adapters on clearance.
These are 3.5-inch SATA drives, and the USB 2.0 adapter can be swapped for FireWire 800, USB 3.0, or Thunderbolt adapters.
$76.99 at the Chico, CA store. As with all BB clearances, YMMV.
Don't have the SKU, tag was a bit torn. Item already yanked from non-store/intranet web site.
I already bought one for $79 at Staples after coupon. So, while I passed, I would have grabbed it other than for that. Using this very drive right now with a GoFlex FW800 adapter on my Mac mini.
I love the GoFlex gear, the FW800 adapter has daisy chain support... so I actually have two GoFlex drives plugged into one FW800 port.

Good deal thanks op. I plan to use this drive in the belkin ddwrt in another FW deal as a network storage. My question is do these drives spin down when they've been idle for awhile? Thanks

I'm curious about whether it spins down mainly to prolong the life of the drive rather than concerned about its noise. Darn the Amazon deal is already dead.
