They had a similar promo last year but this year looks more strict to me with them combining regions.

Posted this last year and scored 2 x 60000 points with a little help from my friends.
This year...?
(not likely with a $125 minimum play per visit versus $5 last year)

I think there were people in other locations last year who were willing to gamble a bit on your card in exchange for doing the same at your local Harrah's for them. It may have violated the spirit of the promotion, but I think it was pretty effective for some. Even if I wanted to this year, the St. Louis Harrah's is getting bought out so it's a no-go this year I would assume (depending on the timing of the changeover).

Shopping: Earn 1 Tier Credit for every $5.00 spent at participating retail outlets.
Can anyone confirm if a $125 purchase will yield the 25 tier credits / checkpoint overnight, and if returning the purchase the next day will deduct the 25 tier credits?

Am willing to "trade" 2 cards. I am at Horseshoe Southern Indiana. PM me.
Was wondering if everyone got their credits last year or if they did a little data mining and realized groups of players all had their cards being played on the same date at the same different locations.
Edit: Quickest way to do this is cover play on electronic roulette machines.
EV per 125 wager is -$3.40 or so.
Also, YMMV to find kiosks that dont have an attendant requiring ID: Guests must opt in at a property via a Total Rewards card swipe at a promotional kiosk or TR center (varies by property) and show valid approved ID.

Care to explain "EV" for the statistically challenged?

Care to explain "EV" for the statistically challenged? Expected value. The amount you can, on average, expect to lose.

Reminds me of the guy who drowned in a lake that averaged 2" deep.

The St. Louis Harrah's is taking part. Who is buying them out? I'm actually going there tomorrow.

I am in North Kansas City, near the casino. [2 checkpoints] I do not need the trade, but if anyone wants I can play. Did this last year for several people.
PM for contact.
You will be refunded the play deposit, less any loss.

I think trading is more fair. How would anyone know how much they lost if you were playing for them?

Heard Joliet requires ID w/ check-in so it may not be a go. I can cover San Diego and Las Vegas (5 pts) but I am looking for someone who can do:
Tunica New Orleans Biloxi Shreveport/Bossier City
Currently I am not sure if ID is required at those locations for check-in.

Trust... Trading requires that as well to a great extent...
Anyway, I did this last year with no problems. And at this point in time I gain nothing by trading.

Live in NJ....can cover AC and Philly for a total of four points. Electronic roulette and poker (17 tier points/hour) is our strategy for minimizing our losses. Willing to trade. PM me.

I can do the Bossier City, LA casinos if needed. Currently, I have completed Bossier City, LA (2 points) and Las Vegas (3 points). Would like to get at least 8 points, so I'd like to at least trade with someone for Tunica, MS to get the minimum 8 points for the 250,000 points. Did this last year and got $125 in free play which I cashed completly out.
Thanks, send a PM and let me know Michael

I am looking for someone who can help me and my wife with Joliet or Hammond or other location not on my list. We just need 2 more points. I can do San Diego and possibly Las Vegas for you if you need it. I currently have the following: Atlantic City Chester, PA Biloxi, MS New Orleans San Diego Las Vegas so only 13 points... need 2 more. Been on this site since creation so I'm an Oldbie and have people that can vouch for me.
