Please note Acer Iconia Tab A100 is able to get the Android 4.0 ICS Update right now.

Can't go wrong at this price for a decent full featured tablet.

I have one A100 and love it. Basically, this is a decent tablet. However, battery is weak a little bit. Only can stay near 3 hours on internet surfing.

I loved mine too before the "upgrade" to ICS, then my battery life fell to half, and started having power issues. It really is a wonderful tablet, full of features not found on more pricey ones. I just hope Acer fixes the power issues.

Rather than this, it may be better to go for something like the Ainol Novo 7 Aurora II for a little more cash. It's new, not refurbished, and you get a better 1024x600 IPS screen (better viewing angles) and a higher capacity battery (4000 mAh) for longer runtime. It has ICS too and based on the fact that it's not skinned by the manufacturer, it will probably get JellyBean (4.1) as soon as it's available publicly. Of course, the fact that Ainol is not from a known manufacturer may affect quality and support.

I'm still trying to make up my mind whether to buy the Ainol or the Nexus 7 but am trying to make up my mind what compromises I want to live with.

I ordered one of these (a refurb) from 1SaleADay last month ($20 more then). I had to send it back (at my own expense) because the battery would not accept a charge. They refunded my money for the tablet, but I was still out the shipping to send it back. I consider it the cost of my lesson for dealing with 1SaleADay. Lesson learned, and won't be doing business with them again.

I had to return mine last month because of terrible wifi. Google a100 and wifi for more info but it appears very common

Did you ask for a prepaid return shipping label?

$40 less and HDMI port. Why should we be not buying this?

I purchased a digital frame from them once and it was all busted up. Had to complain a bit to get prepaid return shipping for a refund.

And Micro SD slot but looks like weak battery and 1SaleADay imo is getting themselves a less than stellar reputation.

I've got an A100 and love it. Battery life could be better but I've never ran out of charge while I was using it yet. Never had any wifi issues and I take it all over. ICS runs very well on it.
Forward facing camera, MicroSD, HDMI, what's not to like?

Interesting. My refurbished Asus tf101 did not chanrge once battery is fully depleted and they sent me prepaid shipping label and refunded full money. It was missing the brown box as well..

I have had one of these for a month now. When I got it, I updated to ICS and it runs great. Only 3hrs on battery though. If I was picking one now, I would go with Nexus 7.

Why is it EVERY single time someone posts a deal on a tablet, there has to be a response that starts..........."yeah, it's a good deal BUT....if you want to spend a little bit more you can get "X"...............or if you wait 6 more months you can get "X". I really hate that response.

I also picked one up from 1sale a few weeks ago at 169.
Really like the unit aside from the previously mentioned poor battery life with ICS upgrade that occurred a couple of weeks ago finally.
Mine looked virtually brand new couldn't tell otherwise.
139 is a steal if I were to get one similar to what I'd received.

Horrible battery life, bad wifi, NO!

I went through the channels stated on their website. The CSR explicitly said I had to pay for return shipping, as per their policy. Guess I wasn't persistent enough. Like I said, lesson learned.

I think 1SaleADay is a rippoff joint. bought a "factory" refurb portable tv from them and it was broke, and missing many parts (including the battery). The product box and product were physically beat up (not from shipping) and anyone with 1/2 a brain would know that it was not factory refurb. I think 1SaleADay just shipped me some beat up display item they got a hold of, no factory involved.
When I requested a return, they would not give me a shipping label, and wanted me to pay for shipping back what was clearly their fault. They also took over a week to get back to me.
No more business from me - be warned.

Indeed, beware of Ben's Outlet and 1Sale a Day. You may receive a product that looks like its been beat up and beat down. Been there so I'm speaking from experience. When all else fails, sic the Credit Card company on them if that's what you have to do.

It's been 14 days since ordering the A100 with no shipment and no info from 1SAD.com.... Seriously thinking of cancelling my order.

This is my first time dealing with 1SaleADay.com, and reading about their beat-up and smacked-down units with no recourse is making me very wary.
