any experience with these?

I heard some aftermarket have issues

Any experience with these on jailbroken ipad running xbmc or ifile?

I use one with a non JB iPad 1. If you use the USB port, make sure your flash drive draws zero juice or the iPad will reject it. Whatever media you use, just make sure the main folder is titled DCIM and you shouldn't have many issues. I used one on a trip last week to transfer movie files for the kiddos. Make sure movies are labled in DDD_1234 format or they will not transfer. I was unable to see the titles in the iPad - just the movie length. If I had more time to mess with the files on my PC, I bet I could get it to work better, but it was sufficient for a last minute addition.

under the information tab:

Note:

Additional Product Information:

1) There is a small toggle switch at the bottom of the device (next to the card slots). When pushed to the right it will read from the 2 slots on the right (memory cards), and when pushed to the left it will read from the left slot – the USB cable.

2) This camera kit is programmed to read from cards that have their pictures in the de facto memory card folder – the DCIM folder. If you have ever formatted your card or added folders this may cause the iPad not to recognize the pictures. To rectify this, simply: a) Create a new folder on your card called DCIM b) Copy all your pictures into this folder .

3) If a message comes up saying “item is incompatible”, please ignore it. As this is a 3rd party device (not manufactured by Apple) it may show this message, but this product has been tested to work on all iPads
