Oralb rebate processor checks the UPC. If its the same as the regular 1000, it would be fine.

I got 2 oral B brushes for $80 at costco and then an extra $20 mail and rebate. link: Costco. Hope this works for some1 else.

I have purchased the heads on eBay before (such as 9 at a time) for 1/3 the price of other buying options. Having used an Oral-B electric toothbrush for 13 years, I am convinced they do a better job of brushing than a manual toothbrush. I find that the handles last 6-8 years even when the whole family uses it. You can get replacement handles on eBay also.

I purchased my electric oral-B from Macy's. Good prices. I then normally buy my replacing heads from eBay or WalMart
