I wonder if the TV can actually display 1920x1200 from a computer over HDMI. From the screenshots, it does indeed measure out at 16:10, so it's unlikely to be a spec typo.
If so, that's a great deal for 1920x1200 monitor, but getting rid of that butt ugly casing will be time consuming...

I was at a Hannspree boutique store in NY once... it was strange to see how many different things they can make the TV look like... a basketball, a baseball, assorted fruit, assorted animals, etc.

Man... I wanna get this to use as a monitor at work so bad I can taste it... can only imagine the look on my bosses face the first time he walked into my office and saw this hideous looking monitor sitting on my desk. LMAO.
