i poked around my regualr sizes and saw that they have already jacked up the prices significantly and then they are giving a 40% discount which comes to more or less regular store prices.Maybe its just me which cannot find a deal in this.does anyone else have a similar opinion ?

Ditto. They never have a deal worth mentioning in my experience. Discount percentages mean nothing.

Typical for Levi's 'Sales'... The bad thing is, these are most definitely *not* the Levi's of old. Things went way down hill after moving the production from SF to Lesotho, Africa... Not sure who the sizes are meant for...but certainly not us. They don't hold up nearly as well, either. I need to find a new pair of Jeans that I will like...any ideas?

Bought 3 pairs the last time there was a similar sale. Was looking to find something different. I can honestly say, that while i'll wear them from time to time...they do not compare to the fit of Lucky Brand Jeans that I get from Marshalls or TJ Maxx.
