Fry's B&M also has the blu ray trilogy set for $19.99. If you have the ad from Friday August 3rd newspaper you can price match it at Bestbuy.

Couple of years back, I made a big mistake of purchasing this trilogy but in HD-DVD format. Now, it's a junk and nothing I can do besides tossing it. Anyway, love the movies though.

can you trade it in best buyfor $5 (or separate the discs in separate dvd cases and get $15) on purchase of new blu ray movies?

To answer this question is a YES. I did this numerous time @ my local BB with diff. sale associate. Remember those free mail in with Toshiba HDvD? I trade them all in. Worst case they won't take it bring a regular DVD as a back up so u don't have to drive home a get a diff one.

If you're tossing it, I'd consider taking it off your hands... I bought the HDDVD attachment for my xbox after they lost the war for $17. Now it's getting harder and harder to find media for it, even on craigslist.
Blu-rays don't have region coding. Most are cheaper at Amazn UK. All play fine on my player.

@laidback, Yuyak, I wish I have some sorts of player/reader but I don't
Thanks all
Upgrade is still going until Sat 8/11.
It should be back in mid October based on the last several runs of the program.

Meaning, if I trade in the my HD-DVD Bourne Supremacy, I have to buy the Bourne Supremacy in Bluray which cost $14.99 - $5 = $9.99 Still, 10 bucks out of my pocket. 3 Bourne movies will cost me $30

I think you misunderstand have the Upgrade and Save program works.
Any commercially produced DVD and often HD-DVD (non porn, cover+artwork) gets you a $5 coupon for any Bluray 9.99 and up. It does not have to be title for title like the original WB HD2Blu program.
You certainly can upgrade to the same title if you wish. The Bourne's were all $5 AC at the beginning so next cycle I suspect it will be similar.

I went to the dollar store and bought bunch of random $1 DVDs, traded them in for the $5 upgrade vouchers, and the bought 2 Bourne movies, Matrix, Lion King, Despicable Me and Mission Impossible 4.

Thanks again, hariseldon and Yuyak. I'll try my luck.
@hariseldon, "The Bourne's were all $5 AC at the beginning so next cycle I suspect it will" You meant the Bourne in Bluray format was onsale for $5 per piece?
@Yuyak, Can I just get the voucher today and buy the Bluray in other day?

The individual Bourne's were $9.99 (plus the movie cash stickers) the first week or two of the sale so after the U&S coupon they were 4.99 each. You can probably read to long threads here or Bluray.com and get an idea of what movies have been available during this sale.
The coupons expire the last day of the promotion so unfortunately that;s today (8/11). BBY has been running these about quarterly so expectations are for October for the next one. Each sale will last 3 weeks or even 4 weeks like this one.

Thanks linrick and hariseldon again. I was too busy with my kid today and have no chance to stop by BB. I guess I have to wait 'til next sale. In the meantime, I'll read more about those programs you guys mentioned. Thanks again, all
