No, the magazine is 5 bucks if you don't have the year membership ($15). The membership gives you a subscription to the @GAMER magazine which has a lot of coupons in it as well as gives you 10% discount on used games. I believe it also gives you an additional 10% trade in credit. It's well worth the year memberships just for the coupons. They have some nice deals when you combine the coupons with sales prices.

If you have smartphone you can go scan the coupon on one of the pages in the magazine at the store and show them on your phone instead of actual coupon.
