Thank you for pointing that out! They really don't mention it anywhere but in the fine print.
I went all the way from extremely excited to deeply disappointed with this deal. Not only they require a 3 day rental which is likely to be more expensive with Hertz even after a free day than with one of the cheaper competitives but it also has to be full price (can't use airline codes to collect a bunch of miles?) and the requires the reservation between July 15, 2012 and December 31, 2012.

Quick reply? It's an automated response, and doesn't indicate that any person actually looked at your note.

It could require further follow-up, but Marriott is one of the best companies for customer relations, so I'd give it a week.
