Turned out not true - a few weeks ago I saw a bunch of gift cards to Biltmore Estate in Greenville, SC Costco but last weekend when I decided to go they were gone. They told me the cards were sold out but it seemed clear they were actually pulled from the stock.

This is our Costco. The Biltmore Gift Cards have never left as far as I can tell! They were on the endcap portion of the gift card section (near the checkout) last weekend.

I guess they got replaced. About a month ago there was none neither in Greenville nor in Spartanburg. I found, however, that online ticket bought in advance were not way more expensive.

i think it's a YMMV on whether a card stays or go...

the mccormick's and regal cinemas' ones are stil there at my location, but we also used to have the k-cups GCs and the starbucks GCs... (then neither card came back...sigh)

Just got back from costco Livermore CA (NCalif)

Disneyland 4 day hoppers $259.99 with a $50.00 Costco GC. ($219.99 ticket if shop at costco a lot and can use $50 for everyday purchases)

Not bad with four day hoppers at $275.0

First use by 2/28 lastet and last day to use 3/13/13 needs to use 4 days within a 13 days of first use.

Anyone know if I can shop at Costco using these "Costco Cash Cards" without having a Costco membership?

Thanks

Membership is NOT required when using Costco Cash Cards. Did that within the last 24 hours...and many times prior to that.

Disagree, but I guess YMVV. I've tried to enter just flashing a CashCard, but they pointed me to the Membership Desk for a temp card. Plus, when you check out, they require a membership card, not just the CashCard. When buying gas, you DO NOT need the membership card, just swipe the Cash Card and you are fueling up.

Answer to: "Can I now shop with it in the store and buy more cash cards too ?"
Shop in costco YES. "Membership is NOT required when using Costco Cash Cards."
Buy more costco cash cards NO. You must be a member to purchase costco cash cards. Think it is even printed on the back of the cash card.

Can that 4 day Disneyland be upgraded to a year's pass?

The Costco in Beltsville, MD does not sell any gift cards

I've never had any issues just using a gift card in Southern California. I've heard you don't even need a membership to enter if you're buying alcohol, cigarettes or prescriptions, though I have never tired it. The cashier sometimes might be irritated because they need a supervisor to override something and they will usually say in a snarky tone, "if your purchase is over the gift card amount you will be charged $50 for membership" to which I respond, "so, what's your point?"

I have not used cash card recently.
Unless it is worded on the cash card your costco is making the $50 membership charge up.
Anytime my purchase was over the amount of the cash card all I had to do was show drivers license & AMEX card or pay in cash.

When you say gift card are you referring to a costco cash card?

I love me some Fleming's $6 burgers during happy hour, so I load up on these.

Yes, I stock up since they can be used at Carrabba's, Bonefish, and Outback as well.
the flemings card can also be used at roy's hawaiian fusion. if you sign up to be on their email distribution list they occassionally send out 20% off discounts for making reservations online. you make the reservation online and they automatically deduct 20% from your bill when it is presented. you can then pay with the gift cards that you purchased at a discount. it's a nice double dip discount. my wife and i signed up with separate online accts and we each get the discount codes emailed to us.

edit: i haven't seen the flemings, outbacks or roy's gc's at the alhambra, ca or other socal costcos in the past year, but they've carried them in the past.

Can anyone else confirm being able to use the Flemmings card at Roy's?.
That would be a nice savings at Roy's since they send out all kinds of discounts or deals.

Here's the policy at costco's website: http://www.costco.com/Costco-Cash-Card.product.10024438.html?cat...
"Costco has created another convenient way for members to pay for their purchases: The Costco Cash card.
You must be a Costco member to purchase or reload Costco Cash Cards. Members and non-members may use the cash cards to shop at any Costco location in the United States, Puerto Rico or on costco.com. Costco Cash Card balances may be used toward membership or merchandise."

Does anyone know if the Pirate's Adventure discount is for 1 admission? Going to take my son this weekend.

Waltham, MA has Nashoba valley (skiing) $100 gift card for $80

In NJ, Golden Nugget $100 worth of gift cards for $79.

(pretty sure it was golden nugget...could have been another hotel/casino. I didn't think to take note.)
