Limit 5 coupons per trip. Now, the question is how many trips can you make per day?

When you make the trip, go ahead and bring all the DVDs with you that you ideally would like to trade in. My local Best Buy customer service said they understand some customers live far away, so they would take all the DVDs at once instead of requiring multiple trips. This is not the "written policy" so YMMV.

Has anyone ever tried to trade in HD DVD's? I have a dozen or so of those that I need to offload as well as a player and drive for a xbox 360.

I have traded in 10 HD-DVD's even the ones that were free with purchase of my HD-DVD Playa back in the day!
Here's a tip - a lot of dollar stores will have DVDs. Last time I bought 10 (for $10, of course) and got 10 vouchers on two trips. You can also try places like goodwill or garage sales.

Gosh, I love this deal. But they have such a limited selection of Blurays in-store that are competitively priced, there are many left that I want. If they every let me trade in DVDs and use those coupons online... Now, that would be something.

So you basically get $5 per DVD, do they give you any trade in value or is the $5 basically the trade-in value?
Avatar being released the 16th...

Avatar being released the 16th... No. Best Buy doesn't normally have a DVD trade-in program where you get cash/credit for used DVD. Think of it as a DVD recycling program. For each DVD you recycle, you get a $5 voucher.

For those folks that have seen the new Media/Bluray store reorganizations I invite you to state your well reasoned opinions directly to Best Buy.
There are 2 different threads in the Best Buy Community Forums if anybody wants to take their comments over there. Since that forum is at least moderated by BBY employees I'd think the more complaints they get there, the more good it might do to get things fixed.
I'd encourage any and all to jump and state their opinion. Over here we're just bitching to the choir, at least over there maybe some of the messages get sent upstairs.
Just came back from BB. Traded in 4. The CSR just gave me a single voucher, wrote 4 and circled it and stapled a receipt to it. Is that normal? Shouldnt I have gotten 4 vouchers?

Depends on the store and how many coupons they have. As long as you keep the receipt attached you should be fine. When you redeem them they should mark off the number you use. If it's at the same store there shouldn't be any issue since they knwo how they do the program, other stores may balk a little if they can't figure out what the first store was doing.

I bought "Prometheus" Blu-ray & Dvd & Digital Copy set for $14.99 plus tax ($19.99 - $5.00 trade-in). That's the lowest price I could find anywhere. By the way, A GREAT MOVIE!
