Recommended by Consumer Reports in their current issue. Although the Excite is the top scorer in the 7-8" screen size.

Touch response was excellent, and we liked the display. Battery life was not among the best.

• Screen resolution 1280 x 800, high for its size
• Very good display quality
• Voice-typing feature
• Keyboard can use "Swype" entry method
• Rotation-lock switch
• GPS mapping
• 5-megapixel camera, higher resolution than most
• Long cord makes tablet easier to use while charging
• File manager preinstalled
• Full access to the Google app market

• Battery life shorter than most

Yeah, this is a good price for this tablet. Aside from the poor battery, this thing is pretty awesome. It has all the ports and slots that the Nexus is missing. I'm very tempted, but the $20 shipping and sales tax (TX) makes it almost $220. Still a good price, but with it's poor battery life and considering I've got a 4.8" cell phone, I might as well go for a 10" tablet.

This one doesn't have IPS display.

I bought the 10.1" last week at 1SaleADay for $199. Got it and love it. If you're interested in the bigger tablet, you may look around.
