Not that it would stop me from buying this, but pure Polycarbonate is more expensive than Polycarbonate/ABS. The blend will often change colors when it "pops up" and leave a whitish mark on the luggage. http://fourtraveltips.hubpages.com/hub/durablehardsideluggage
