I was in Walgreens in Houston and was running some prints when I noticed they had the Sony ICD-PX312 digital recorder on clearance for just $17.49 down from $69.99. Awesome reviews for this recorder and just perfect for most needs. Here's the specs

Heads up: The Sony ICD-PX312 digital recorder was selling for over $40 at the two Walgreen's in San Francisco that I checked so it looks like this is not a nationwide clearance at $17.49.
on a shelf by the photo center prior to this it was locked in a glass cabinet

This is definitely YMMV. I had to go to 3 stores to find it. The first store had it for $42.99. The second store didn't have it but had the BX-800 model for $29.99. The third store finally had it along with 2 other models. Here are all the information.
