For most people the Amazon deal would be better because of no tax. However for those who do have to pay tax on Amazon and/or don't have to pay sales tax at Office Depot, the Office Depot deal could be better, especially if you have a credit card that offers better Cash Back at office supply stores (like the Chase Ink Bold, which is 5%).

Also, if you want to order a dock to go with it. those are typically going for $150. However, the docks from the previous model transformer prime are compatible with the new infinity. The newer docks are supposed to be better balanced than the older ones (to reduce tipping over). However, the newer docks actually have a smaller capacity battery than the old docks, so some users prefer to use the old docks with the new tablet (that's what I did). Right now Office Depot is selling the old docks in the Gray/Purple color for only $99.99 (yeah I know that doesn't match the tablet's champagne color, but some people don't care at that price)
