Reviews look good. Will we still be grandfathered on the $25 plan or will it go up to $35 with this phone?

Is the ics a way to share the data with my laptop and other devices? How does this differ from any other android device with a wifi app that allows tethering / hotspot sevice? (Think FoxFi)

This is an excellent alternative to iPod touch. $79 for everything ICS has, I use mine in Airplane Mode with Wi-Fi.

How long does the battery last if you're just listening to music on the Rise?
The phone looks beautiful. I like that color, but I needn't it. Thanks anyhow.

Bought one of these for the wife @ full price a few weeks ago. We were both using Optimus Vs, and this thing is miles ahead. It works with the current version of the Netflix app (which no longer works on my Optimus after last few updates). Her battery lasts much longer and ICS works perfectly. VOIP apps which were very marginal on my Optimus seem to work great on her Rise. I have no idea how they're selling this phone for so cheap, but I guess I'll give up my grandathered rate to get one now too.

It's only 3g service on this phone. Too bad!

How much longer is this sale on for? They show as being out of stock right now.
